THE SMART WAY TO PROCESS ORGANIC WASTE

Our Mission

Provide efficient, safe, clean and financially sustainable processing of organics waste stream that creates a circular economy.

Our Vision

Responsibly process the organics portion of our waste stream creating useful products.

What is a circular economy?

A circular economy is a regenerative system in which resource input and waste, emission, and energy leakage are minimized by slowing, closing, and narrowing energy and material loops; this can be achieved through long-lasting design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing, recycling, and upcycling.

The Organics

These objects, materials, and substances can be made into compost & energy.

Some Industrial
Waste

While landfills take years and composting takes months, it takes just 21days to concert thousands of tons of organics into valuable, nutrient-rich compost and renewable energy.

The Why?

In a recent audit (2018). performed by Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County Public Works we learned that 31.9% residential waste & 18.5% of commercial waste is organics. Most of that waste, largely food, is being put in landfills.

In a landfill organic waste breaks down emitting methane, a greenhouse gas up to 80% more potent than carbon dioxide. Over 14% of the methane in our atmosphere is a result of organics decomposing in landfills. Yikes!

The What?

A Dry Anaerobic Digester is a fully sealed system that converts organics waste into renewable energy & nutrient-rich compost. All organics waste is transferred and received in completely enclosed containers. This respects the environment of both the facility workers and anyone nearby.

The How?

A Green Bin for organics at home and offices will have sealed bins at their loading docks.  All organics waste is transported in sealed containers- no open-air dumping!
Smart Processing Facility. SAFE, CLEAN & FAST.  The digester can process high volumes in a small footprint in a completely enclosed vessel.

The Big Picture

A Dry Anaerobic Digester allows Middle Tennessee to get the highest and best use of organics waste back into our community.

Simply put, digesting organics is smart, safe, and economically sustainable.

How to Lend a Hand

Our mission is to provide smart solutions for waste processing while engaging the community through education.
